FruaThing (UA-Shell Update):
============================

This is simply a "repackage" of Nathan Upchurch's original
  FruaThing program to install it (and my new UA-Shell
  support files) to allow it to work well with UA-Shell.
  There is ONE change of the actually executable (detailed
  below) which i'll apologize for if it offends anyone
  (especially the author).
All credit for the work that went into this program
  should be directed towards Nathan Upchurch...
  wherever he may be. :)

To use:
-------

Simply unZIP the archive in your main UA install directory...
  everything should get put in the appropriate place from there...
  ALSO... you might want to delete PROGRAMS/FRUATHIN.COM (i did)...
  it doesn't REALLY matter since the new configuration doesn't
  reference it anymore... but it's just taking up space now...

Changes from the original "FruaThing" package:
(and some quick mention of bugs fixed/handled by the UA-Shell support)
----------------------------------------------------------------------

	- renamed "FruaThing.exe" to "FTHING.EXE" for backwards
	  compatibility with DOS filename lengths.
	- fixed (via hex editor) a minor bug which labels
	  FruaThing's title on the Windows titlebar as "FuraThing".
	- set up a new subdirectory ("FTHING") under the
	  main UA install directory in which the FruaThing
	  program files are installed.  This compensates for
	  the following problems:
	  	- FruaThing creates some "extra" files
	  	  (debug.log, fthing.ini) and requires
	  	  some files to exist in it's install directory
	  	  (fcpal.pal, picclp32.ocx, strg001.dat)
	  	  which PROBABLY shouldn't be in PROGRAMS
	  	- more importantly FruaThing creates a
	  	  subdirectory of whatever directory it's
	  	  installed in (named "Art")...
	  	  which will cause display problems for
	  	  MANY of UA-Shell's menus if it's installed
	  	  under PROGRAMS
  	- added an updated "FTHING.COM" to which both runs the
  	  new executable and fixes the "bug" which creates
  	  a "STRG001.DAT" file in the root of whatever disk you
  	  have FruaThing installed on whenever it is run.
	- created a FTHING.TXT file from a dump of Nathan's
	  original HTML documention. (but DID keep the original
	  documentation in the program install directory...
	  i has a pretty... and informative.. graphic which the
	  .TXT file translation lacks)
  	- updated the CPICEDIT.MNY to handle the new FTHING
  	  .COM .EXE .TXT files.
	- removed all accompanying documentation which
	  erroneously references Nathan Upchurch's email
	  address, web page, and online bug report support page
	  as these things have all vanished into the Bit Bucket.
	  more current information would have been included
	  if it could be found.

Notes/Bugs/Etc:
---------------

	- as i mentioned above... you may want to delete
	  PROGRAMS/FRUATHIN.COM from under your main UA
	  install directory... but leaving it won't cause
	  any problems.
	- also... the .BAT source file is included in the
	  archive and installed as PROGRAMS/FTHING.BAT.
	  for anyone who wants to see/tinker with it...
	  but for the rest of you... you might want to
	  delete PROGRAMS/FTHING.BAT too, but leaving this
	  in place shouldn't cause any problems either.
	- more importantly!  if you have EVER run FruaThing
	  before... it will have registered the location
	  of "picclp32.ocx" in the Windows system registry
	  as being wherever you previously installed FruaThing.
	  (like C:\UA\PROGRAMS\picclp32.ocx ... amongst other
	  innumerable possibilities).
	  to correct this problem (or if you just get an error
	  when trying to run FruaThing in general) you may want
	  to run REGEDIT (under Windows) and search for occurences
	  of "picclp32.ocx" and then MODIFY the text strings
	  to point to the current location.
	  (i.e. MODIFY "C:\UA\PROGRAMS\picclp32.ocx" to be
	  "C:\UA\FTHING\picclp32.ocx")
